As the name suggests, precision test gauges are used when a high degree of measurement accuracy is needed. They can be used to calibrate or test the accuracy of other equipment. Having calibrated equipment is vital as they ensure safety and quality assurance. These gauges typically have many more divisions than a standard gauge. With the mirrored scale and knife edge pointer, an accurate and precise measurement is guaranteed.
