Problems tend to arise when measuring corrosive, toxic media as well as slurries and viscous fluids. Direct contact with the measuring instrument may cause clogging or degradation, the solution may be a gauge with a chemical seal. The seal provides the necessary additional layer of protection by preventing the media from reaching the internal components of the gauge. These are available for regular pressure gauges, transmitters, and differential pressure gauges. These can also be used together with a capillary for remote reading.
Types of Chemical Seals Available:
- Flush Diaphragm: 1/2”, 3/4”, 1” NPTand BSP
- I-type, flush diaphragm and open flange: all sizes available according to DIN, ANSI, and JIC
- Paper Seal
- PVCSeal: also available in PP or PVDF
- Mini Seal / Monobloc
